Basic Settings 基本设置

Apple ID and password 用户名及密码	you need the Apple ID and password to purchase and download iPhone apps from the app store. 你如果需要下载软件或升级，都需要苹果手机用户名及密码。
设置	Settings control everything from the way your iPad works to the data it shares with apps and other devices. You can open Settings by tapping the icon on your Home screen. 你的iPad会根据你设置的不同而表现不同。你可以直接在屏幕上点击设置
General (settings) 通用	Settings > General > 设置> 通用 About - Name of your iPad, your network, capacity of your iPhone, version 关于本机 - 手机名称，网络， iPad容量，版本 Software update - keep your iPad up to date 软件更新 Date & Time - set up the date and time 日期与时间 Keyboard - set up multiple keyboards for input as needed 键盘 - 可以设置多个键盘 Language & region - set up the primary language and the region in which the iPad will be used 语言与地区

Extend Battery Life 延长电池寿命	Settings > General > Background App Refresh (turn off as necessary) 设置 > 通用 > 后台应用刷新关闭 Settings > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads (turn off) 设置 > iTunes 与 App Store > 自动下载关闭 Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Brightness (turn on) 设置 > 显示与亮度 > 自动亮度调节
Display & Brightness 亮度	Settings > Display & Brightness > Adjust Brightness 设置 > 屏幕显示及亮度 > 调整亮度
Sounds 音量	Settings > Sounds 设置 > 音量
天气	Weather 天气 Daily weather, high/low 每日天气，最高最低温度 Weekly weather forecast 一周天气 Sunrise / Sunset 日出日落 Radar map 雷达图（layers) Switch between celsius and fahrenheit 摄氏华氏转换 (in settings)
地图	Map 地图 Search for a place or address 搜索地址 Get directions (car, walk, public transportation) 行走，开车线路，公共交通线路 GPS and real time traffic conditions 全球定位系统及实时路况 Local vs highway, toll vs no toll, fastest route 是否走高速公路, 是否走收费公路 (driving options)
